About Us
We are a behavioral health practice that understands that life can present with unexpected twists and turns. Our goal is to come along side those struggling with behavioral issues, to help them discover a higher level of function & quality of life, knowing that each day is a new start.
We approach co-occurring diagnosis and behavioral disorders from a medical perspective, with the goal of uncovering medical and psychiatric contributors of health and wellness decline. In doing so, we strive to provide comprehensive whole-person care.
Telehealth visits are available throughout the week for New Patients & Follow-up Visits.
In-Office visits are available on Tuesdays

What to Expect

Our office utilizes HIPAA compliant software to increase efficiency & communicate by SMS or email with our patients.

Office forms are completed electronically using your mobile phone, tablet, or a computer

Automated appointment reminders enhance efficiency by email or SMS

New patients will need to provide a copy of their ID & insurance card prior to the initial appointment

Random urine screening is required at the discretion of the provider which may include an additional charge if not covered by insurance.
Additional Fees

There is an additional fee for completion of forms for use outside of the patient's medical record.
Insurance & Payments
We are contracted with most major PPO plans, Medicare, Tricare, & several mental health plans. We are not contracted with HMOs or Medi-Cal.

Copays, deductibles, & coinsurance will be collected at the time of visit. We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment merchant, or cash is accepted at in-person visits.
Our Providers
Industry-leading physicians and healthcare connoisseurs have inspired nurse practitioners like Ginger to be transformational healthcare leaders.
As an RN, she became frustrated by the inability to autonomously promote change and impact the lives of those needing specialized care.
In 2016, after more than a decade of working in the specialties of oncology and neurology, she attended CSULB and obtained her MSN and became a Family Nurse Practitioner and then completed her Doctorate of Nursing in 2022, from Aspen University.
She trained for several years in addiction medicine learning from two highly respected board-certified addiction physicians in Los Angeles and Orange County.
The gained experience allowed her to develop advanced skills and learn the craft of safe substance detox and medication-assisted treatment, management of withdrawal symptoms, treatment of chronic pain in those with history of opioid abuse, & simultaneous treatment of addiction, pain and mental health.
In 2018, she co-founded SoCal Behavioral Medicine, Inc., in order to provide a safe haven for stigmatized populations that need help with addiction, under-managed pain, and behavioral health issues, in a private patient-focused relationship. She looks forward to working with each client to achieve sobriety goals while improving function and quality of life.
